Monica Hansen

Mónica Hansen currently serves as the Vice President of Clinical and Ancillary Services for Allied Digestive Health. Mónica plays a strategic role in the overall management of the Pathology Laboratory operations. Prior to assuming her current responsibilities, Mónica served as Vice President of Pathology and Laboratory Director of the Pathology Lab.
Mónica brings several years of Academic Research experience and over 20 years of Anatomic Pathology experience. She has led her team through several successful College of American Pathology inspections and has restructured laboratory processes to increase staff productivity, proficiency, and quality assurance. Additionally, she leads the lab’s initiative, development, and execution of new testing. Her goal is to provide Physicians and Patients with the highest quality standards by bringing innovation and further testing for fast and accurate Diagnosis.
Mónica graduated from the Rutgers University of New Jersey, New Brunswick, with a BA in Cell Biology and Neuroscience and was an honored member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society. Before joining Allied Digestive Health, Mónica exemplified her passion for leadership by managing several operations of nationally known laboratories. She is an active member of the College of American Pathology.
Mónica and her husband enjoy spending quality time with their three children at their home near the Jersey Shore. She enjoys watching her children’s sporting events, competitive running, traveling, and reading.
